There is a lot to romanticize about the pioneering era of the ‘wild west’; the technologies, the clothes, the culture, and of course, the kind of society that one attains when living in a world where the gun is the law. The West draws heavily upon these notions –between the interactions between the natives and the settlers, the establishment of trade, and even the sheer focus on the whole ‘duels at sundown’ shtick makes one feel as if the game is a little closer to a Hollywood reproduction than a historical game. History purists looking for Died of Dysentery levels of grit will want to pass off on this experience, but anyone else with a passion for the wild west but can also appreciate a touch of fancy will love the way this browser game plays.
